The first Field Communication Lounge was in 2011 at Hannover Fair. The booth was formed by taking the individual booths of FDT Group, Fieldbus Foundation, HART Communication Foundation and Profibus & Profinet International and joining them in a single booth space.
     
 
     
 
     
 
     
 
     
 
     
 
     
 
     
 
     
 
     
   
       
In 2012 we moved the concept into a singe booth with common furniture. In addition to the original memers OPC Foundation was added. In lieu of an individual organizational identity, the concept of Technology Kiosks was introduced. We belive that the concept was taken too far, and with the large number of angles and high structures in the booth, organizational identity was lost.
     
     
At ACHEMA we attempted to regain some corporate identity by avoiding the sharp angles and using a diff
     
     

 

New for 2013 is an improved booth location, revised floor plan and more emphasis on the individual organization’s brands. Final booth design and floor plan will be avaiable soon.
